Well I hate to post these on one hand as they are not great photos, however it is my first "capture" of a Leucistic Mallard. He was on a creek in a beaver dam pond with about 20 perfectly normal mallards.

These are as close as I could get with the 70-300. When I tried to slip in closer near the dam they all blew out togather, turned and went out of sight to the north. I have returned several times and never seen this bird there before or since.

Thought I would share as uncommon as they are. I finally pulled the trigger and recieved my Bigmos, delivered today!! So maybe I will have some "better" duck shots if I can "catch some light" over the weekend.
