zenfolio help

I have a quick question about zenfolio. I just bought my domain name from godaddy. I got it to work if i use www.domainname.com. How do i get it to where i can do domainname.com. Without using the www.?

Just type it in. The www. is implied by most browsers.

From what i have been reading you can have it set to where you can use the www. and just the domain.com. I would like to put it both ways.

I have done this for mine as well with Goddady, you just need to check out the instructions on the Zenfolio website. After you log in go to the upper tab (preferences) and where you choose to use a custom domain click on the instructions link.
As it says you need to set ua both and A record and a CNAME record as well as choose to use a custom domain on the Zenfolio side.

ok i got it to work. Now the only question i have is how do you keep the domain.com in the address bar instead of it switching to domain.zenfolio.com

Doesn't switch for me... you sure you got your settings right? Mine is also a godaddy domain.

I have it set up as

rlewisphotos.com and www.rlewisphotos.com

I just need to know how do u change the address bar up top to the rlewisphotos.com instead of rlewisphoto.zenfolio.c​om?

Edit just looked and now the rlewisphotos.com doesnt work

how do you have DNS configured on your Go-Daddy account?
