i had a wonderful time working with Jordan and Landon on this project.

we created the Twilight photo that i wanted to do... it was a challenge for me to see if i can light up subjects the way the master Joey Lawerence can...

it turned out i was able to recreate some interesting light, don't know if it is exactly like what master joey did but for me, i was happy with the results.

this shot was done with 4 lights.

2 - 15inch softboxes
1 bare speedlight behind subject
22 inch beauty dish with AB1600

all triggered by cactus systems

all speed lights were @ 1/2 power
alien bee was about 1/3 power

I think you did a great job Pham.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.

:)
you and your twilight stuff :)

I'd blur the BG a little so it doesn't look edited in. Other than that = cute :)

I agree with Misha right now it looks pretty edited in. I would work on making it less so. The tree behind the boys face looks like it could use a little fog on it it is too stark compared to the others. Great job over all looks like a fun project.

to help with the edited in look... what if you made the shadow and dark areas on the couple darker...?

Nice shot. Blurring the background might help, but the direction and temp of the light still don't match background. It'll still have that edited looked just with a blurry background.

Looks cool Pham. If I remember correctly, from the first series, this backround is real. Did you play with other gradients or hues?
