anyone have any recommendations on cheap, but quality built lightstand?
Something for portrait photography.
Thanks!

Just got the heavy duty one and am very happy with that as well. I just got this stand a couple weeks ago for throwing in my carry-on (Imact stands are just too long to fit). Very nice for lights that aren't too big/heavy. Very stable but folds up very small. That'll make a world of difference as to what stand you'd want/need. Are you hoping to bring the stands outside? If shooting in a studio, how tall are the ceilings? These are all important questions that you need to answer before you can find which lightstand is right for you/the job.
