Best lens coat for wildlife/birding?

I am using 500 mm F4 L IS for birding and wildlife, I have been trying to hide my lens for better birding possibilities by using a Camoflogued cloth covering the lens and me. I have seen many photographers using lens coat over their lens. I need to know for birding and wildlife what is the best lens coat? Real Tree/ Forest Green/ Digital Camo or Snow White?

Depends on where you're going to be shooting from. The whole point is it blends into the surroundings you're in.

I have found that Real Tree camo is the most realistic, and it works really well.

I agree the most effective camo will depend on what you are trying to blend into. Most of the real popular camo is popular because people like the way it looks, rather than being the best at concealing hunters and such. I wouldn't worry too much about trying to blend in perfectly. I admit I can't speak with much authority about birds, perhaps they "see" differently, but most wild mammals spot movement first, assuming they didn't already "spot" you with their nose.

Colors for birds is much different than animals. It is more about muted or camo colors, with small birds concealing an out line that they may perceive as predator. My 100-400mm has computer matrix camo wrap and the 600mm has real tree. I am still a fan of the good ole time camo but the real tree is probably more appealing to me than the birds. IMHO
