Both are good, I really like the second.

Thank you for the kind words.

Last one for now.. landscape. Grand Union Falls (unofficial name for it).. me perched precariously at the edge of the rocks lol. GF in alaska with the 24-105 so this is the widest thing I've got. Made due. LOL

Nice. :)

And doh, the exif is gone on one of 'em you are right! Ack! I think it's because I was messing around with image analyzer and used it to resize it (just messing around). it must have cleared it. Anyway, afaik it was like ISO 800 , f/8. I basically always use f/8. Though it doesn't perform badly at f6.3, it gets a nice boost at f/8 and DOF is nice for birds. I see you also using the same 6d 50-500 combo for some things. Works nicely. I swear they updated the coatings at some point, because I see none of the low-contrast look that the shots had when the lens was released. It's super poppy. The only real optical flaw is quite a bit of CA at the long end. Also wish there was like a 3 meter - inf focus limiter, but oh well! Life's not perfect.

Willow flycatcher (pretty sure on the ID from another shot I have of it that's not as good plus the way it looked in person).. in some really nice light:

I got this lens a little while ago, I found this thread but it doesn't update me when a new post comes in, even though I am subscribed. Odd... But I'll have to see if I can post some of mine too.

Out and about Sunday morning with the Sony A7S and Sigma 50-500mm OS, mostly manual focusing, however.

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.

If any would like a Sigma 50-500 I have one less than 16 months old. Never left the house, nary a scratch. Just not used in lieu of my 300 2.8 and Tam 150-600 and I'm crazy enough to also have the Canon 28-300-the Sig just doens't get used. PM if interested.

Here's two from a walk that I didn't like enough to upload to my zenfolio but thought were worth sharing. This thread needs more samples!
