I just put the egg on a glass table right under a lighting fixture. I took the pic from couple meters away at a steep angle. Lotsa careful photochopping to remove all the dust particles..

Good idea, but it doesn't look sharp?

Well.. it's combination of several factors, I suppose. For one thing, the glass is a bit colored. And since the glass is no mirror, it doesn't produce a perfect reflection. Maybe a mirror would give a better result.

I like it...love the color, love the composition..there's just something about the design that draws me in to look at it over and over
