Mute Swans in Fight

Witnessed another interesting behaviour from wildlife lately. I've never seen swans fight almost to the last breath over a female. You could hear the loud thud from their wings 30meters away as they struggle to get the upperhand positions. The fight lasted for more than 10mins and this is the longest one I have seen so far.

Nasty indeed and a lot of people in the park just can't believe what they're witnessing. I thought swans are gentle unlike the Canada geese that are always aggressive.:D
