Just droped my camera at the Hawaii service center and my cleaning is free this month

But you have to make a $20 donation to the charity of the month

Which tbh I'm more then happy to do

So not 'free' but still a good deal! Change your title...

Twenty dollars to have Canon clean your camera is a good deal. The money you donated to charity is not tax deductible when goods or service is received in return for the donation.

Don't think the IRS ever checks but it is the law and has been for about 10 years. As for the deal Canon is giving you, makes me wonder if Canon in CA is doing the same. I own two Canon camera and that deal could come in handy.

That's provided they actually clean the image sensor well. When I sent my 5D in for free mirror fortification, the service slip said "cleaned image sensor", but I did my usual image sensor cleanliness test and it looked as it usually does! :P

Mine had what I can only compare to a coffe stain on it
I am think it could be grease from the mirror hinge as just recently I have been useing live liew a lot
but it seriously looked like coffe on my photos

anyway all gone - no dust - and like I said he even took a hair out of the inside of the viewfinder and cleaned the outside of my camera - removed a little salt corrosion from my hot shoe
