Hi guys, I'm planning on slowly getting into strobe lighting and posted up an ad on craigslist for a light meter and got a few responses. From what I could gather on here they seem to be priced accordingly.

Sekonic L-308s-Looks to be in great condition everything included: $145 firm
or
Sekonic L-508-Looks to be in good condition also, may not have all the acces.: $200

I know the 508 has more features but is it worth paying the extra? Or just I hold out for better deal? Still new to this OC metering.

Thanks,

Aaron

Also look up Minolta meters, widely used by pros and amateurs in the 1990s before Minolta went out of the meter business (in fact, Sekonic struggled as the #2 in the industry back then). Today's photographers only seem to know the Sekonic name, and forget that Gossen or Minolta useds meters are great products.

Never had a Sekonic, I've only used Gossen and Minolta meters, I must be getting old. Check out the Gossen Luna-Pro F, its my most used meter.
