I've been doing it with my camera for a little bit now, and I got some good reactions. Even bumped in to another photog or two. Here's two from recently

HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'

Just snapped them quick, since I couldn't really screenshot it. It's best to use the flash I've found. You don't even need to take pictures, just hit the flash button on the camera. Try it out and post the pictures here

Probably about 1 in 4 or 5. It's crazy, and also pretty gross. I like to hit the flash a lot when I come across it so they think I'm taking lots of pictures. They usually move on pretty quickly when they see the camera though.
