Moisturizers aren't needed and can potentially contaminate sensitive areas of the lense and camera.
Lens aren't 100% sealed, water is always best. A small amount of Windex on the rag if you want.
Simply put a damp terry rag (buy at auto parts stores) in a sandwich bag for field work. Cheap, effective, safe, and reusable.
