I just don't understand that part. and in the picture I posted, there appears to be at least a foot if not more of space between the infant and the bean bag, seems too far of a drop for a helpless baby who can't even hold their head up. I'm a nursery nurse and we have to be all about safety, and this just doesn't look safe! Gear list: Canon 5D Mk II, 7D tokina 11-16/2.8, Sigma 30 1.4 , Canon 50 1.2 L, 85 1.8,100 2.8 L macro, 580ex,

Additionaly, with the post processing that occurs with these types of shots, remnants of a bean bag could easily be removed, if there was one showing. Also, it could be the parent laying on the ground under the baby. I don't think that anyone that performs these shots are doing so without considering the safety of the child. Lori Putman

It takes 1/250th of a second to get the shot once the parents have let go and they were actually right underneath the baby with their hands holding it up until it was time to press the shutter. Then it was 1, 2, 3, remove your hands, SNAP, put your hands back on the baby. If the baby was squirmy, we didn't do the shot, but it was never an issue of safety. Now it is so easy to photoshop stuff, the sky's the limit....things aren't always what they appear in this business. Sue Cassidy
