Nice shot, but I would prefer a more rectangular frame (3:2)

:)

I'd agree. You could crop out some of the sky - negative space adds little to the image. But a lovely shot, just the same.

All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.

Jack,

I actually like the way you cropped it, and the amount of sky in the image - so would publishers & graphic designers - they need somewhere to put text if the image is going to be used as a greeting card or in a magazine layout.

The stark quality of the background sky is pleasing to my eye because it's not a flat, dull grey - it has some nice pale bluish tones in it.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thanks Tom. I was actually trying to balance the subject with the back ground ( small tree) . As a hobby I do inspirational verses to my relatives and people., So I am always looking for "free" space when I crop. I have cropped this photo closer and it is still sharp, but I prefer this for balance. I could be wrong. First time this decade. To my recall that is the way the sky looked on that day in late December. I like pastel colors.
