Hello All,
I am relatively new to this whole photography/editing situation.
I took this photo and did my best to edit it.

IMAGE: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4003/4439165169_4b10e20035.jpg

I only have access to Lightroom 2 at the moment, so that is what I used.

You will notice, however, that the full size of the photo appears to be grainy and have a lot of noise. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make this photo better?

By the way, full size can be seen on the following link

Because I edited and saved the image as a new image to preserve the original, I do not know the EXIF off the top of my head. I am at work at the moment and the original is at home. I can post it when I get home tonight, for you if you wish.

I looked at the larger image. I don't see the noise.

What I do see is that you nailed the focus on the center of the flower. However, you had a shallow depth of field. So everything else is out of focus. Also, I would have snipped off or bent out of the way that pinkish blob on the bottom right. The yellows might be maxed out in some places too.

Just a thought.... bumping up the contrast might give a little more definition to the petals

Excellent Ideas. I will reshoot this photo tonight and post the "right out of the camera photo". Perhaps from there, we can see what needs to be done.

Thank you for all the constructive criticism.
