Guess there's a luvaducks on this forum, so here's a pic I took the other week. I'm no ornithologist so if you can help me with a tag, please do:) (I know it's a swan) Taken with my 20D, a 28-135 and the pop-up flash.

The photo seems a little dark to me, was it taken in really low light? I do like the cool reflections on his neck, its giving me some ideas for my next project.

Yes, the light was fading fast and I was more than a little reluctant to use the pop-up flash, but it did create the reflections. Just checked the 'info' and the focal length was 105mm so the bird was some distance from me. I like the droplets of water on the neck refracting the bright light. The birds are accustomed to begging for food at that spot, but they got none from me!;)

This is one very busy forum, I could hardly believe that my post had gone to page 2 already:eek:
