Rf-602 trigger question: Are there different versions for different flash mfrs?

Getting ready to order some RF-602s. I noticed that most 602 auctions list which camera bodies/ flash units are compatible within the item description. The description seems rather generic and I have my doubts if there really is a difference in the triggers from auction to auction. The only reason I ask is I see some of the sellers have rather poor feedback and I would rather buy from one with good feedback even though their description may not list the 500D as a compatible camera.

Comments or sugestions?

you have two models of transmitter: a canon version and a nikon version
you have only one model of receiver (works with both models of transmitters).
you have different cables (3.5 plug; 6.35 plug; and camera body specific)

There are also two brands I've seen (HAVE and YUGNUO), but they are both the same products rebranded.

The different packages that you see online are just a mix of all of that. Pick the cheapest one.

As there is nothing on them that is brand specific I think thats just a marketing device.. So people searching their camera or their flash will get the auction in their search. Inexperienced users are more likely to buy from an auction that lists their model.
