The weather have been so and so lately. The activity have also been around midnight so it have been to late due to work the next day. To night this happened just before 10pm so it was perfect. Not very high activity, but according to Spaceweather it will improve this week.
Used the 16-35mm for this. I just love the f/2.8. I noticed that these could have had sharper focus, but it's difficult to see at night. But next time I know how the manual focus should be set for sharper images.

Very nice Helge ! I really appreciate your sharing these images and especially big enough for us all to see them better . A few post theres and they are great but too small for the eyes' . Makes it hard on me :( .

Thank you. This is the first time that I have reduced the image down to 72dpi before posting and it still looks good. It is not print quality but godd enough for the monitor.

Did you know that actually most images are only at 72Dpi when posted on the web ? Thats why it looks good but it's also a great shot !

I guess I knew that. But I've always uploaded the highest resolution to Flickr. At least I will have a copy of the file on Flickr in case something happens.
