My son loves his planes. I was trying to keep from getting too blown out but I wanted to get as shallow field as I could. C&C always welcome.

Don't worry about the technical stuff with a shot like that. You have a great subject and a really nice composition so the little nitpicks anyone could have really are just that.

I like it, very creative and since your son loves planes it will be an awesome memory.

Awesome shot. I don't know what's up with his hand, but that's a minor detail compared to greatness of this shot. Really love it.

Nicely done, Scott. Definitely looks like a future pilot, to me :)

Any nits to pick on the technical side of this shot look like they ought to be easily fixed in most any editor; you got great, sharp focus on his eyes and I think the DoF is just right for this shot.

Agree with other, very nice shot.

Hard to get it technically perfect as kids not going to stay put like a model while you fiddle.
