This is one of those overlooked images that I thought deserved a little consideration.

Timing was everything here. The light was disappearing and I had to count approx. every 8th wave that hit the back of the iceberg to get it right. Took about 20 or 25 images to get it. My idea here was a trade off, to capture texture rather then a FG and depth.

Hope you like it.

Nice work as always Frank. The warm light and splash hitting the berg really does it for me.

Beautiful shot. Captures two great forces of nature colliding. The light really sets the scene as well.

The light on this is fantastic. I was considering heading over this spring, but they say the ice in the Gulf is exceptionally low this year.

Glad you like it Don. Are you talking about the Gulf of St. Lawrence. If so you won't see any icebergs there. PM me and I'll give you exact locations.
