I would like to point everybody's attention and consideration to a noise removal application called Picture Cooler. I have been testing and using the beta versions for over a year now and within the last week it has gone commercial. Things I particularly like about it are its speed on my tired computer (half the time of similar applications), large and fast preview, 16 bit support and preservation of the color profile, and sharpening which adds no contrast. An added bonus is a deconvolution feature for the reduction of blur caused by camera or subject motion.

Thank's, Elie, but that link just takes me to a generic website. Personally, I'm happy with the noise reduction options built into RSE. Why post process when you can pre-post process? ;-)a

Interesting - if I go to that link and remove .shorturl from the address - it takes me to neatimage, which I use and like.

I use neatimage and I find it worth all the money I paid for it

If you read the last page of the testimonial link, the author is saying the Noise Ninja and Neatimage are still the preferred tools though this one is quickly gaining ground.

I have no issues with Neatimage and it does what I want it to do.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
