Just took my 5d2 to the park today with the kids and seemed to me like at EC +-0 (when shooting Av mode) its exposing correctly... as opposed to getting consistantly darker images whereby adding 1/3-2/3 ec+

just wondered if anyone else noticed? or it was it a once off ?

My gallery - just posted some of my top shots (external link)

Probably because you were outdoors. EC exists because not every scene is the same.
