Nice shots and use of dof to isolate the subjects. lovely smooth bokeh in 2 and 4. I think it works that exposure is a bit dark to keep the detail in the white parts of the flowers.2 is my favourite, but they are all good =D

I think the first three photos are underexposed. For the third photo, i would chose a better looking flower to focus. First photo would be my pick if it was taken a stop higher.

I see where you were going, but as mentioned, a few are underexposed. The DOF misses for me, and I really want to say the second is fabulous.just too much of blur in the foreground:(

Thank you for the comments. F8 @ 1/100 instead of f4 @ 1/400 is same exposure with partial metering. I should also state taken before the sun came fro behind the clouds ie flat lighting.

As you can see straight out of camera exposure is correct.

How can a backlit shot be under exposed. Obviously didn't make it dark enough. Apologies to those who preferred 50 shades of shadow grey in the original

A nicer flower vertical but already used in a landscape version.
