The DOF misses for me, and I really want to say the second is fabulous.just too much of blur in the foreground you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

F8 @ 1/100 instead of f4 @ 1/400 is same exposure with partial metering. I should also state taken before the sun came fro behind the clouds ie flat lighting.
As you can see straight out of camera exposure is correct.
How can a backlit shot be under exposed. Obviously didn't make it dark enough. Apologies to those who preferred 50 shades of shadow grey in the original
A nicer flower vertical but already used in a landscape version.
