Adorama returns / exchanges

So Just opened a new camera to find that the sensor looks like it has some moisture issues. blurry, streaky, neon psychedelic-ness. the ghost hunters would have a field day. I However, am not so happy.

I've never bought from Adorama before, but B+H didn't have what I wanted. I'm sending the camera back tomorrow, how quick are they with getting the new camera back in the mail?

they just received my return today, ill let you know tomorrow if my refund was posted, i doubt it, but my package was returned unopened so i dont know how long it would take them to inspect it

Their normal time stated is 8 business days. However, I sent a [Used] lens back and with a little persistence from me, I was able to get it through in 4 working days. They immediately sent me a replacement and that arrived two day later. If you do not see anything posted in about a week, try to find Helen O around this site and she will be able to help you. She is a great rep for Adoroma that is always happy to help. All in all though, you made a purchase from a very reputable company that would never leave you hanging or steer you wrong. thanks everyone, I just re-read their return policy and saw the 8 days. still sux though, I paid to have it shipped in two days so I could have it for this weekend. and since I won't get it in the mail until tomorrow, they won't get it until Monday.......I'm SOL until early the following week.

Kind of nervous to do an exchange, I know Adorama is reputable and it's not their fault, but I wonder if the entire batch / shipment of these cameras might be affected. Hoping it's just that one dud that I got....
