Even as I type this it is about to start snowing here, but yesterday and today I noticed some very welcome visitors back to my garden.
Talk about a bust bee, look at all the pollen on that bee's legs!
I am really liking my newest lens, the Canon 24-70 f2.8L. It's a stunning chunk of glass. And if you combine it with some Extension Tubes a whole new world of possibilities opens up. I am now able to follow these little buzzers and actually get some fairly decent images of them. This was my first time trying this with this lens. I used a 12mm ET as well. The lens is so fast to the focus and is able to lock onto these small dudes. A little more practice and I think I could really get some great shots. I can't wait for Summer to get here with the Dragonflies!
Who knew the 24-70L was a wildlife lens!?
