Any learning curve with the new lens? Thanks very much. Right now, the biggest curve is to my spine... Most noticeable technique "quirk" I've found so far is a need to really get the left hand well out on the barrel of the lens. I can cheat some with my 300 f/2.8 and only grab it under the tripod foot but the 500 gets twitchy when I try to use it the same way. vr6pwns_me wrote in post #9830111 Good stuff!
