I just recently got back from vacation in japan. Please critique composition and post processing. I really like these 2 pics and I would like to know what others thought.

Thanks.

I like them both! Great processing too, the colours in the first are rich but not over the top. Good conversion in the second, vignettes seem to work but not 100% sure. Composition is strong in both, in my opinion.

I like the first one.

Is it just me or is there a lot of noise in the second picture, especially in the background?

I like the first alot.great textures and perspective.second is also good, but I think the vignette is swallowing the photo? I like the grain.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Thank you for the comments. :)

The second pic is grainy from the nik plugin. It's the effect I was going for, but wasn't sure if it works w/ the composition.

The first one looks like a poster. Definitely wall art worthy. Crisp, clean, well exposed and a good composition balance.

Thank you for such a great compliment! :D I've only been shooting for 3-4 months, and in all honesty, I think the first pic is my best to date. I was actually thinking about printing the first one, which is why I asked for CC on them.

I like #1 but the rock in the lower right is distracting
