That red Yorkshire truck looks like it is haulin' ass, even when it is parked!

Love that little airfield security pooch!

It was Law Enforcement Night at a local car show that a friend helps organize.

Cool shots. I used to work at O'Hare Airport for United Airlines. Whenever they had a pilot retiring they would hire 2 city fire trucks to come and spray water over the airplane from both sides as it was pulling into the gate. I never seemed to have my camera (or a decent camera phone) when this happened. Someone please post one of these if you got them. They looked pretty cool from the tarmac.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.
You're a ghost driving a meat-coated skeleton made from stardust, riding a rock, hurtling through space. Fear Nothing!

Looks to be a 70's Ward LaFrance. LaFrance has always had "unusual" styling. I prefer the mid 60's rounded nose design the most.

On a side note I just love how simple it is. Its an engine, thats it. Not a squad/engine/rescue/aerial/ladder/utility. This is how it is meant to be, carries water, hose and people, thats it. Seeing these monstrous overloaded pieces of apparatus built today is heartbreaking. No wonder there are so many apparatus related crashes.

Im sure that old war wagon could tell a few stories.

Some from a house fire down the street, I kept hearing sirens and was getting annoyed because I was watching a movie, finally looked out the window and saw the smoke, by time I got there it was out. Kitchen fire. They must have thought I was press because the Polizei lifted up the caution tape and said I could go right next to the house to take pictures.
