I was shooting my daughter's soccer game in Carson City, Nevada this past weekend when a wildfire broke out a few miles ago and started to grow rather rapidly. It was 100 degrees, 20mph+ winds and growing fast. Out of nowhere a couple of tankers and lead plane showed up, made a few quick passes and were gone. I was shooting the soccer match and didn't really think to lower my shutter speed to try for any prop blur . . . plus these planes were a couple miles away. Quite a show nonetheless.
