Spring definitely arrived in my garden this morning - when I got up, in my pond which is barely 3 feet by two in size, there were 2 courting pairs of frogs "assuming the position" and one other bigger frog who sadly, was alone. 5 in total, making all kinds of noise.

Got home from work and there were four individual dollops of frogspawn.

Went out to have another quick look tonight and took the camera.

Here is one frog, looking out for the children. All 3 thousand of them :)

Tripod mounted and at the widest aperture, highest ISO, lit my the garden light only.

The only editing done was to alter the white balance via the eyedropper tool in LR.

Pretty impressive for a 450D at 1600 ISO is it?

Ahhh! Spring - and a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love (with apologies to Alfred, Lord tennyson). Nice shot.

All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.
