Well, since Mother Nature decided to have that one last winter party here, I had to cancel my planned trip to Colorado Bend State Park. I on the other hand went to Hamilton Pool and Reimers Ranch. I was a little bit bummed that the River Trail at Hamilton Pool was closed.

I'm kind mad that I did not bring my tripod with me when I went to Hamilton Pool. I tried to brace myself as best as possible. I will have to go there again with my tripod. I've yet to get a pic of the falls there that I was happy with.

These were all with the Sigma 18-50. I also now know a longer lens would of been good for the lizard and dragonfly. I had to get way to close @ 50. Looks like it's time to save up for the Sigma 105.

Rest are here.. (external link)

definitely a longer lens for the lizard.. that big white round thing on the bottom left is a little distracting (satellite dish?) not sure what you could do about it, but nice job working with what you had!

Thanks. I just knew I should of lugged the tripod with me. If you are talking about what looks to be in/behind the waterfall, it's a life preserver. They have a couple randomly around the pool.

Was trying to get the lizard, but he kept moving when I got close. I was kinda balancing myself up on rocks trying to get closer.
