I figured folks were getting tired of my old amphibian shots, and so was I, for that matter. I'm back with new material from 2010. Really trying to improve this year.

These guys are federally threatened. This is in a rare area where they seem to be coming back.

Hum, Looks like he could be in your yard. Is that where you found him. Couldn't you get him to stretch out on his back to show those red legs off? ha

No, not in my backyard - on a berm nest to a stock pond. But now that you mention it, i'm also having problems with the grassy background. I have p+s shots of the legs in the hand, but was the only one present permitted to handle it, so I couldn't hold him and take the photo at the same time.
