If you have time, head east (another few hours drive) along the #1 highway. Check out the Chilliwack area (smells like manure -gross-, but omg BEAUTIFUL areas there), Harrison Hot Springs, and venture on into Hope (if your car has good clearance, drive up the 11km gravel road -lots of potholes) into Jones Lake for an afternoon picnic. I know the picture is washed out, but that's my fault for using a crappy monitor to raise the contrast/brightness (car was blackened out due to bad lighting).

In Whistler though, get ripped off by the ticket booth and pay to take the Gondola to the top (bring a jacket).

hehehe.. don't worry about hijacking... at least maybe some people will be curious and look at my cool picture that sat here for almost 7 WHOLE DAYS before the very kind Marie brought it back to life. ;)

Thanks Marie.. :D

My friends that live in Whistler have been sending me pictures for the last few years.. and.. well.. me being a Canadian and everything, I just have to go there!! I've been up to the Alberta side of the Rockies.. been to the California side.. but not the BC side yet.

As for being excited for me... you should see me when I'm talking to someone that is planning a trip to Europe!!!
