A couple of quick questions:

1) Does the 70-200mm f/4.0 IS come with a tripod collar?
2) If so, is it the same collar as comes with the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS (Mark 1)?

Many thanks,

regards,
/alan

Can anyone please tell me the part number of the tripod collar for the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS Mark 1?

Thanks again,

Alan, the 70-200 F2.8 L IS USM [MK1] uses the Tripod Mount Ring B(W), which is the same as the one supplied with the 300 F4 L IS USM and 100-400 L IS USM.

As of note, see below where there is the 400 F5.6 L USM using the Ring A collar and the 300 F4 L IS USM using the Ring B collar:

Were it mine that I had lost and need replaced, I would. But since it's from a lens I borrowed from a neighbour... :-(
