Hey Everyone
All this talk of a successor to the 20D, is making me sick. Its about time that Canon make a digital slr for the serious amatuer like me, and many others. The people that want to have pro like gear without the huge price tag.
I've read other people talking about a digital version of the EOS 3 film camera. This would be the best option. A camera like the 1d mkII, but about half the price. I would like to see a built in vertical grip, NO pop-up flash, most amatuers have a 550 or 580, and don't use it the pop-up.
10mp would be sweet also a 1.4x crop ( i still want some reach for my 300mm with 1.4x, but still have the abilty to get some wide shots) or better still keep the 1.6x and create a 10mm f2.8 L series lens. If people are familiar with some of Nikon's gear (I know its a dirty word) but nikon have a 10.5mm lens that can be used on all of their cameras (correct me if im wrong) I got a friend that used the 10.5mm on his nikon film camera and still worked.
Scrap the EF-S mount and have a 25 point af system. I'm in Australia but a $4000 EOS 3D would be a better option than a 30D or 40D.
What are everyone else's opinions, please add any other features u would like to see. I just covered the basics.
