Couple from Yesterday

One of wife's coworkers. I did some maternity stuff for them. This is the resulting bundle of joy. C&C appreciated.

Lovely images, I'm sure your Wifes colleagues will be very pleased with these.

Nicely done.

1 - your DOF is a bit too shallow, i would make sure the dad is in focus aswell...maybe f7 or higher, i do however like the composition, the B&W conversion doesnt work for me, makes the image flat....

2 - Very good attempt, shooting babies is not easy at all, specially getting them comfortale and still enough for you to snap, i have a similar photo in my flickr of my niece, once again though, the B&W gives the photo a very one-dimensional feel.

3 - in this one i would tighten the crop, seems a bit too busy with backdrop, basket, blanket....one thing i try to do when shooting these little fellas, is minimize as many objects as possible, this includes clothing, which you did good by having him/her nude.
