I went out today, first time since I saw the grass last November. I need to crop and adjust a few of these, but here are some. The kids really wouldn't get dressed and so these are just generic, nothing special.

I've often wondered what/how to get 'good' informal shots. Did you take all your gear with you? ie, speedlight? The only thing I took was the 40D, 85mm 1.8, and the speedlight. I didn't use the speedlight on that one. I did leave all my gear in the car beyond that just in case. The kids at this stage refuse to get dressed and wear about the crappiest stuff known to man. With the snow just melting, everything outside is dead and it is the worst time of the year to take pics, but they did. Becky....Mom to 5 kids ages 22-10...proud military mom and aunt!
