Well I ordered a computrekker from someone here on POTN and received this. It still holds my laptop (main compartment or front pocket) so I kept it. I wanted a bigger bag to hold all my gear and laptop for longer trips and hiking. Took it out for a bit and walked around montrose harbor for about an hour and it was really comfortable. Im sure while using the waist strap it will be good for a decent hike.

Front Exterior: Tripod holder at the bottom. It comes with some useless bungees to hold the top steady. They don't work well with my tripod so I will probably just make another strap.

Back Exterior: Nice bad on the back and nice thick padded waist support. The straps are really thick and padded. The straps are adjustable in more ways than I need but allow you to get the bag sitting right on your back.

The AW is for All Weather I believe. The zippers have a rubber/plastic lining that should help keep out water. I beleive the main body is water proof but it also comes with a rain cover that is stored under the bag.

Interior, First Layer: As you can see I have a lot of extra room. I wanted to leave the main camera area open so no matter what lens I have mounted I can drop it in the bag mounted. Also, when the camera is out I can put water, food or a jacket in that area. (I used my 40D and 24-70 for this shot but you can see the space that they take up)

Interior, Second Layer: The bag is decently deep and allows stacking of items you don't use as much. Most of the accessories are stored under a lens.

As I noted before there is a rain cover stored under the bag. Unlike my Kata this one is sewn in and wraps up over the bag. Its held in by a piece of Velcro to keep the pocket closed.

It has plenty to cover the bag and then some.

The bag comes with a "Pack Jack". Basically the shoulder straps are held in by velcro and you can adjust them to fit your height.

As you can see there is a lot of adjustment. This is at the line that 'is not to be exceeded'. Once you secure the Velcro it holds very strong.

Not ideal for computer storage but it works pretty well. The bottom is padded on top of the interior and the top cover is padded. Decent protection.

Some final detail shots. The sides have clips to hold it closed. Not sure what for but they are there.

And so you don't forget who makes the bag they plastered their name everywhere.

Shortly after I saw there was not laptop slot I saw this and thought, shouldn't that say computrekker?

All of the older Trekker series have been discontinued (Nature, Photo, Pro and Super), they have been superseded by the ProTrekker and ProRunner series bags.

I was looking at the Nature and ProTrekker bags once upon a time...some serious bang for the buck.
