Thanks for all the comments. It was a very difficult place to shoot. These are ISO 1600 at f/1.4, and I barely had handholdable shutter speeds. The shadows made it impossible for AF to lock, so these are all manually focused.

As to the borders: I don't view these as cheesy..they're a 4 pixel stroke of white and black, not exactly elaborate. The reason I have them is to set the picture off from the page. If I have a picture with a good amount of white or light color, it blends completely into the forum page and looks like part of the picture has disappeared. Similarly, a dark only picture will lose itself on dark forum pages (not this one) and on my website. This sets off the picture from the page, and isn't embellished at all.

I'd say given the conditions you described, you did excellent work. I kind of like the shallow DOF on these... it adds to the wonder of it all. Nicely done.
