Does anyone know how I can get an up to date version of this? Canon mention it but I cannot locate one on the Canon Europe web site.

Aweitzel,

Wish I'd come across that pretty version before I created my existing manual from the f1 help! Thanks for the link, however I cannot see any reference to the rotation function, so it's probably not the very latest.

Richard, which version is the manual for? I'm not sure about the European site, but the American site for the newer cameras has updated manuals. Here's the page for the 1DM4:

Tony,

Thats perfect, thank you.

Canon Europe does not offer anything like the range of information that Canon US does, which is strange.

THIS (external link) is the link I always use Richard, and yes I agree, the Europe site is pretty poor in this regard.

That link you were given is for 3.3 (?) - version 3.8 manual is available from the US site.

NinetyEight,

Yes, I downloaded the 3.8 pdf Tony suggested last night. But thanks.
