The first shot is amazing. It's almost like the bull is teaching the little guy about dueling.

I am assuming you were using the 7D for this and not your 5D. Do you like the performance compared to the FF? I have been contemplating a 2 body solution with a FF for landscape combined with my 24-105 and my 50D to continue with wildlife. I was curious if this is the philosophy behind your selections.

Two great shots! Love the action in the first, detail and focus of the second.

This is what I'm doing now Rich.

I have a 5D with 24-105 or 17-40 on it + my 7D with my 400 5.6,

Sorry didn't want to post and have people mad that I posted here. But here it goes, the first one was with the 5D classic and the second one was with a 50D and both were taken with a 400mm f2.8 Mk II no TC. I like the photos I take with the 5D, for some reason they just look better to me, I am no pixel peeper that is just my take on it. The full frame 5D camera is nice for scenics and I suppose portraits which I refuse to do anymore, and usually like the crop cameras for the extended reach which often I need plus the 50D and 7D has a faster fps where the 5D is like 3fps which for some wildlife like birds is not fast enough to me. If the subjects are close enough, and move slow enough like sheep and moose I will sometimes switch to my 5D. I enjoy having both cameras and like having a full frame.

Those are both very nice photos, some the best moose photos I have seen. I prefer the photos from my 5D too, I really wouldn't miss the 50D much if it were gone.
