www.creativelight.com (external link) <- Anyone here using their products? Looks like quality stuff (and they're owned by ProFoto...) at fair prices. I have a jonesing for their 5-foot octa but would like to hear from any owners, how tricky the assembly is, quality of light, etc.

And btw - Pretty stupid choice of company name, kinda hard to google anything about them without coming up with 90% of the results being Nikon CLS stuff :D

i bought 2 of their speedrings for my profoto lights and they are working great. they were like $89 each vs $149 for the profoto brand.

i will consider their softboxes in the future. for the time being use amvona and for the price cant be beat, just my $0.02 worth.

Am using their 1 x 4 ft. strip and grid (seeing Elinchrom lack there tsk!).

Box and grid are great.
Speedring for Elinchrom is soso.
Bowens speedring makes breakdown easier but not any good for "folding away intact".

So, modifier good, attaching to light not so hot.
