Maybe it is my imagination but when I shoot tethered the battery seemed gone quicker.
I do use an active USB cable to extend the length but it should take power from the computer.
Any clue?

jhoag Senior Member More info | You are correct. Tethered shooting, while really cool and very useful for many projects, drains the battery faster than any other activity besides shooting in sub-zero temperatures. I don'e even want to think about combining the two circumstances. _______________
