The 90mm tilt shift is ideal for still life and product shots. Not only is it very sharp, but you can alter the plane of focus to give more apparent dof. Therefore less stopping down is needed and optimum apertures can be used. Also, corrections to the perspective can be applied as you are shooting down on the subject. I hope that helps.
