I went saturday was raining all day and was very disappointed that Brands have put a high fence up at Surtees (can't see any point of this fence!), there is now only 1 close clear view there now which is on the inside of druids. Probably inside of Druids, other than that there is a window in the fence round Clearways. Alternatively if you can get close to a fence i.e. Surtees, outside Druids shoot wide open you will take the fence out of focus. Don't think I will bother with Brands any more Nick, UK

Mar 24, 2010 13:51 | #8 No they do seem to have made photographing at Brands harder in the last few years. World Superbikes was even worse , massive sponsor boards at Druids . Was almost impossible Jamie Morris Photo Canon EOS 1d MKIII /Canon EOS 1d MKII N x2/ / 7d / 30d/300mm 2.8L100-400 L/70-200 f2.8 L/50mm 1.8/Sigma 12-24 2.8/30-80/18-55 USM/430 EX Flash/Kenko Pro300 DGX 1.4X & 2x

It's a sign of things to come; in 5 years time public photography at UK race tracks will be an impossibility. Glenn

I went to Brands Saturday, was a complete waste of time, cannot get a clear shot at all now. They a spoiling it for photogs and all spectators putting these massive fences up, can never get a clear view of what you are watching. Its like watching cage fighters Nick, UK
