I've been reading a lot on POTN and other resources and feel like I've expanded my knowledge a couple of notches in the last few months. Finally got to go out a try a few things I've been reading up on. I feel a lot more comfortable working the camera while knowing which setting will affect which part of the overall image.

Any and all CC is welcome regarding composition, lighting, processing, etc. EXIF is in tact I think. The model (my girlfriend) doesn't have any modeling experience in front of the camera (not a lot of expression and doesn't know what to do even when I tell her lol). Posing directions is something else I will continually be working on.

I think all of them have minor issues. I dig #5 but I woulda framed her between the trees in the background and steered away from the lens flare. I really like #3 even though the color temperatures are off.

lower your angle of shooting.
Also try to find a model that really wants to shoot. Your GF looks a little bored and annoyed. :)

Dinko, You have some great possibilities. Your GF is very pretty, Just sit down with her and browse some of the other pictures in this forum. There are some excellent photographers and models on this site. Get some ideas and go from there. Keep posting your progress.

I just got my first pair of glasses that I didn't think I needed. I apologize to anybody in the past year that I said their pictures were out of focus lol.
