Real world IQ Differences between bodies

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was wondering if there was a post, or place where it shares real world IQ differences between various bodies starting from the lowest end entry dSLR to the highest end ones using the same piece of glass and settings. so the only change would be the body itself. I'd been under the assumption that the IQ was mostly determined by the lens, but I've heard and seen other stories that coincide.

Thanks for any help.

I did a iso test between the 5D and T1i about a month ago. I simply did it because I was curious and I happen to simply own those two bodies.

The T1i is on the higher end of low end cameras and the 5D is on the lower end of high end cameras.

When the 40D was released I remember there were a bunch of reports that it was soft compared to other cameras. It was concluded that this was due to the anti-aliasing filter used on the 12MP sensors. I remember someone did a comparison between a stock 40D and one that had the AA filter removed (have a search online). The difference was quite aparrent. I would say then that the body does have some impact on the clarity of an image however I believe the newer bodies have better AA filters in them so it may not be as noticable as it was in the 40D.

I'm not aware of any list comparing images between bodies.
