Been umming and aahhing about buying a 7D for months now but with the Aussie$ quite strong against the US, it's a good time to buy, so I just did. Hearts thumping, cant wait. Feel like a kid at Christmas, no hang on, Christmases at my place were awful, I feel better than a kid at Christmas!

I think there are two different brigades for the 7D.

brigade #1 getting the camera, keeping it and using it

brigade #2 sending it back

Which one are you :p

Congrats on the new gear!

Welcome... I expect that you will love it... If you give it a fair chance and a few days of practice I expect you will be in brigade #1:)

I see no reason why I wouldn't be in the first. I love my 400d, never had any complaints with that. I dont think we Aussies have the luxury of being able to try it out and then send it back like people in the US seem to do. I fully intend to keep it.

Congrats on the new gear!

Or brigade #3... buy it ... read everything thoroughly, watch all the videos available, post here for advice, test the crap out of it, decide its not you...... take it back......get a new one that works.

And now I am a happy camper.

Enjoy the new camera!

Now I am very happy :)
