Need Suggestions for adding background for team photo

Looking for some creative guidance...

I have several soccer teams that I shot against a really bad background. Rather than deliver the goo, I decided to cut them out and drop them against something custom.

But I can't come up with anything clever. So I thought I'd reach out and see what others thought might look cool.

I have a ton of these to deliver on Monday, so anything you might suggest needs to be fairly simple -- I am photoshop challenged.

Here is an example of what I have to process -- excuse the quick cutout job:

I like that idea, but I'm afraid my lack of skill might make it look hokey.
