GBH from last summer with 300 f2.8 & 1.4X TC

Here's a few from last summer using the Canon 5DmkII and 300mm f2.8 + 1.4X TC. Shutter Priority- 1/400th sec, f4.0 . I'm hoping the same bird comes back to this pond. He got used to seeing me there taking pictures and I was able to get pretty close after a while on several visits to the very relaxing spot.

This was on a very hot and humid day. The bird was airing his wings and body to attempt to stay cool.
